The goal with Rivana is to pioneer a new kind of urbanism, where a modern city emerges in harmony with its scenic landscape and stays true to Loudoun County’s culture, which blends modern, urban amenities with heritage and tradition. Rooted in Virginia’s agrarian past but with an eye to its connected, globally-minded future, the site will weave the social, dynamic, and culturally progressive elements of big city life into a tapestry of public green space, easily accessible by the Dulles Tollway and the Silver Line Metro. To work or live at Rivana will be to feel a steady sense of wellness and inspiration.

Within the contours of the mixed-use, transit-oriented community is a vision for drawing visitors through the site to immerse in nature and small-town charm in a contemporary context.

Rivana Village is the heart of Rivana at Innovation Station and draws visitors from the Metro to a charming, village-scaled environment bustling with unique restaurants, retail, and entertainment concepts.

Bridging the Village Plaza and Innovation Station’s Metro-connected “downtown,” Boulder Ridge will be a scenic pedestrian walkway connecting Rivana’s many districts. In the west, Horsepen Park, an 11-acre stream valley park, features a bridge and elevated walkways that connect the westernmost portion of the project down to the stream valley trails and up to the central Rivana Village.
