This small, but iconic golf clubhouse combines simple, modern architectural forms with rustic, organic elements – epitomized by a rammed earth wall along the structure’s main spine, a reference to the region’s earth, culture and ancient artwork. The clubhouse provides an indoor/outdoor experience that feels much more expansive than the actual footprint. From the initial vision – tightly framed by monolithic entry walls – to the completely unobstructed vistas from the expansive dining terrace, every element of the clubhouse has been designed as a frame for the spectacular views of the adjacent Gary Player golf course and the Sea of Cortez.
