Carefully planned and designed to authentically connect guests to the destination, SB Architects leveraged its expertise in hyper-localized design to create the AMARA Hotel. Starting with a clean slate before the ground-up construction of the hotel, the design team drew inspiration from Mediterranean style, scaling, and traditional proportions, to create a timeless, yet contemporary resort. Influenced by the appreciation of the island’s natural environment, the design creates a timeless connection between the island and the sea. The hotel is designed as a series of indoor and outdoor experiences, which draw the natural world into a tightly designed plan.
