St. Regis Bahia Beach Golf Clubhouse

Rio Grande, Puerto Rico

This gracious clubhouse combines the laid-back Caribbean design aesthetic with a sophisticated sense of style.

Set on a spectacular site surrounded by a grove of coconut palms, the golf clubhouse lies at the heart of the 13-acre St. Regis Bahia Beach Golf Resort. An expansive open-air porch with views of the golf course’s 18th green forms a link between two separate structures that house the dining and locker areas.

THE DESIGN

A GOLF HAVEN

The simple, but striking buildings are terraced into the site, creating multiple dining terraces, and private terrace gardens for both men’s and women’s locker rooms.

The architectural style – a fusion of Asian, Mediterranean and tropical influences, with an emphasis on large overhangs, generous terraces and open-air spaces – creates an experience entirely unique to this site and this resort.
